coffee date #1

Hello guys! I ‘m sure you have heard or read about these virtual coffee dates here on the web. I have been coming across them on multiple blogs I follow and really enjoy reading them. So I have decided to jump on the bandwagon. This is my first one, so forgive me if it’s a little… “rough”.

So you are officially invited to “our” first {virtual} coffee date…

If we were on a coffee date… I would order a Grande Pumpkin Spice Latte with soy milk extra hot (ah..yes, I do still want whipped crème..duh.. Smile)

If we were on a coffee date… I’d tell you how I’m loving this already! (sorry if I come off overly zealous…lol). How I beg my husband to go on coffee dates with me but he’s just not that patient to sit and sip on coffee…lol. He is trying but unless we’re out eating, the idea of just sitting for a “long” period of time talking he’s still working at. And I miss being close to my mother and sister so we can have coffee dates… Disappointed smile

If we were on a coffee date… I’d tell you how my husband and I are anticipating what’s going to happen with our fostering that we’re waiting for and that waiting is the hardest part.

If we were on a coffee date… I’d mention that I’m excited and nervous and even though I don’t want to share all the details yet, I’d really appreciate the extra prayers over this situation.

If we were on a coffee date… I’d ask you if you ever considered fostering or adopting children”? Why or why not?

If we were on a coffee date… I’d ask you what’s been going on with you? How you feeling? And listen intently as you “spill the beans” (whatever they may be Smile).

If we were on a coffee date… I would tell you how I baked my first pumpkin bread (recipe coming soon) and that it made the whole house smell delicious and I don’t know why I didn’t make one before… ever!

If we were on a coffee date… I would ask you what you like most about fall and do you have any great {beginners} fall recipes to share? Open-mouthed smile

If we were on a coffee date… I would ask you what your thoughts are about a SUV vs Van for family vehicle, space, and convenience.

If we were on a coffee date… I‘d mention how last week was a total fail for {October} NaBloPoMo and that I was so flustered last week that I did not manage to upload/post a single post… Disappointed smile

If we were on a coffee date… I would tell you how much fun it was and how I enjoyed your company and that we’d have to do it again very soon. And how I would love to join you on your {virtual} coffee date {on your site}.

Thanks for joining me.

If you had a {virtual} coffee date, what are some of things you would tell me?
