I am a firm believer in the power of the spoken word. God created heavens and earth with His spoken world and that in and by itself is powerful and I think explains it all. The tongue has the power of life and death. I’m not sure who created the phrase “sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me” but that was a lie. Your last word to someone can be difference between them committing suicide that day or knowing that is more than life.  Often people of success get a lot of negative energy on the road to success but If you ask them they could tell you someone who said something to them that stuck til this day. Whether it was a teacher that gave them one word of encouragement one day that stuck to them or whoever it may be. We all remember someone.

My point is that where you are in life is because you choose to be. Whether you like your current status or don’t it has been your choice. The words you have spoke in your life has guided you to this point. Also the words you have allowed to come into your mind. Lately I have been reading a lot on affirmations and the mind and I thought I would start to post different affirmations that I may use and some will just be general to be used. Customize these affirmations and make them your own. Even if you use affirmations already, then these will be great additions.

I will do a post on “Using Affirmations” very soon, later this week, maybe even tomorrow.

The first affirmation will be
“I Am Confident” yes, very short but powerful and easy to remember to repeat daily through out the day.

Stay tuned for the next affirmations to come… 🙂
