Today’s smoothie was a duzy! I mean it was TOTALLY thrown together.
– 1 cup Soy Milk
– 1- 1/2 cup Kale
– 1/2 Cucumber
– 1/2 cup Frozen Blueberries
– 8 Cherry Tomatoes
– 8 (Baby) Carrots
– Couple slices of peaches to save the flavor (this was thrown in after I blended everything)
Blend all together and “enjoy”… 😐 or not so much. Let me just say, “this smoothie was HORRIBLE!!!”, that’s when I added some frozen peaches which helped very slightly and made me able to drink it. I realized while I was drinking it, YES, yes I did still drink it because the nasty flavor does not take away from the health benefits. But I realized I hadn’t put a good balance of fruit in it. A mistake I am know more aware of… 😉
So, the lesson for today…but sure to have a good balance of veggies and fruit if you want a good flavored smoothie.
Come back tomorrow for the next smoothie… Day 6. I’m sure it’ll be much better :D.
