Homemade Rice Krispies Treats

I decided to make some Homemade Rice Krispie Treats because I was bored and wanted something sweet. It was my first time making it and of course it was very easy to make. I actually really liked them, I liked them more than the store bought ones. I don’t buy the store brand often but when I do they are normally just too sweet for me. So these were perfect…

Ingredients:

3 Tablespoons Butter (I used Smart Balance Butter, which has Extra Virgin Olive Oil in it)

4 Cups Mini-marshmallows

6 Cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies

Dash of Cinnamon

13x9x2.5 Pan

Directions:

1. Melt butter in pot on med heat.

2. Once butter is melted, add marshmallows stirring until all melted.

3. Once marshmallows are melted, remove from heat and add rice krispie. Toss rice krispies to make sure it’s all coated with marshmallows. Pour into Pan, making sure to press flat and evenly, then let it cool for a moment, then cut and enjoy… 🙂

My husband enjoyed this treat as well, he thought they were perfect but I thought they could use a little more marshmallows, maybe 4 1/2 cup instead of 4 but it depends on your likings.
