Good evening guys, today I did a very simple smoothie using soy milk, spinach, banana, cantaloupe, and ground flax seed. This was the first time I used cantaloupe in a smoothie and it was de-lic-ous! I did not have to use any sweeteners for this because the cantaloupe was so prominent. I’m trying to do better measuring so i can be more accurate for you all but most of the time I just eyeball it.Ingredients: – 1/2 cup organic soy milk – 1 ripe banana – About 1-1/2 cup cantaloupe – 1-1/2 cup spinach – 1 tablespoon ground flax seed – a couple cubes of ice to make it cold
I apologize I did not take a photo of this smoothie, my phone wasn’t available and it was so good I finished it before my phone finished charging. The cantaloupe did not cause it to loose its greenness. The picture below is not mine, just wanted you to see the tint it was. Day 2 complete. Tomorrow my smoothie is going to consist of apples because I have a large bag of gala apples that I don’t want to go bad. I actually meant to put apples in this smoothie but forgot.
